DIGIN 2026, taking place this year for the fourth time, is dedicated to raising awareness, exploring, and presenting new ways of using assistive technologies to support the inclusion of people with various forms of disabilities.
We are pleased to invite researchers, educators, developers, policymakers, and other professionals to submit their contributions to the DIGIN 2026 – Digital Inclusion Workshop.
As digital technologies increasingly shape the foundations of modern society, questions of accessibility, inclusion, and equal participation become ever more important. Rapid developments in artificial intelligence, automation, and digital services create new opportunities, but also new risks of exclusion. DIGIN 2026 aims to address these challenges by fostering interdisciplinary dialogue and sharing research findings, methodologies, and good practices related to digital inclusion.
We welcome original contributions addressing topics including, but not limited to:
- Digital inclusion
- Assistive technologies
- Web accessibility
- Mobile application accessibility
- Accessibility of products and services
- Accessible audio and audiovisual media services
- Use of digital media among persons with various forms of disabilities
- The use of artificial intelligence in digital inclusion
- Accessibility in extended reality (XR)
- The use of assistive technologies for the Metaverse
- Current social challenges and aspects of using modern assistive technologies
- The role of digital literacy and other forms of literacy in digital inclusion
- The use of brain-computer interfaces in digital inclusion
- Digital inclusion for older adults
- The use of artificial intelligence to ensure accessibility
